A Shoelace Brand, 'Das Schuhband' inspired by an iconic graffiti artist, Thierry Noir, the first street artist to paint on the Berlin Wall.




















Glimpse into Thierry Noir's style
Thierry Noir painted in a style known as 'Fast Form Manifest' in which to avoid arrest, Noir simplified his figures into one continuous line painted with two or three bright colours.




The 'eyes' taken to form an identity, along with the colour palette.

Character and Pattern Formation


Character created inspired by the street artist, and a pattern formed using the character in balance and repetition.





Packaging
Using the four dots, an interactive packaging for the shoelaces with an extra card inside for easy storage, functionality & brand recall.
